NYU Fire Research visits HFFD

Yesterday the HFFD was visited by Dr. Prabodh Panindre and a student from NYU Fire Research. They are conducing research for the NFPA on firefighter breathing systems. They toured the HFFD and reviewed our breathing systems as part of our research. Dr. Panindre has been a researcher on firefighter safety issues for over 10 years and is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at NYU. The HFFD constantly works to stay abreast of research and development of in the field of firefighter safety.
